Offices located in London, Ontario have access to free daily document pick-ups, Monday-Friday. We will visit your office once per day, between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, and pick up whatever court filings you have for the day. Some offices have us pick up from their receptionist, others have a mailbox or folder located at their front entrance for us to simply retrieve the documents from when we arrive. There is no need to contact us every day to tell us whether you need us to come by or not. We will simply visit every day, at no charge. We will drop off the previous day’s filing confirmations and invoices at the same time that we do the pick-up.
Law firms and individual LSUC/LSO licensees have the option of paying all of their invoices in bulk on a monthly basis to cut down on their administration costs. Even if you choose to pay monthly, we will continue to provide you with individualized invoices for every order so that you can easily bill disbursements to your clients or to Legal Aid Ontario.
If you have not signed up for daily pick-ups, you can also send us your documents on an ad-hoc basis. We will file documents that are couriered to us on the next business day after they are received. If you have an urgent or same-day filing order, please call us at 519-663-0509 to make arrangements. We are able to accept urgent orders between 12:30 pm and 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
One of the most compelling reasons to choose Forest City Filing is that we treat your court filings as though they would affect us personally. If we attempt to file a document on your behalf and the court clerk spots a problem, we won’t just send them back to you the next day with a note. We will attempt to call your office, or send you an e-mail depending on your preference, so that we can attempt to help you fix the problem and avoid any delays.
